Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians (MI) have been known for their strict rules and regulations among other franchise in the T20 event over the years, as they have their own a plethora of instructions that every player has to follow and adhere to.

The three-time IPL champions follow different techniques to maintain discipline in their players for a long time and some of those are tough and some are quite funny to follow.

Recently, young wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan got punished by the franchise management for breaching MI's rules.

Actually, MI has a unique rule that if a cricketer does not arrive at the practice or hotel rooms, etc. on time, he will be punished and will be forced to wear an Emoji kit, which is embroidered with various emojis from chat apps -which makes the player look amazingly goofy.

Interestingly, Ishan was also punished for breaking the rules in the last season as well, and this time, he became the first player to wear the Emoji kit in two back-to-back seasons.

The franchise also shared a picture of Ishan wearing the Emoji kit on its official social media handle on Sunday, 7th April, and the caption reads, ???? BREAKING: @ishankishan51 becomes the first player to wear the Emoji kit in two back-to-back editions of the @IPL ????????????”
