CSK and DC are due to face each other on Tuesday.
Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals have started their IPL 2019 campaign on a positive note. While CSK registered a resounding 7-wicket victory over RCB in the tournament opener on Saturday (March 23), DC defeated MI by 37 runs a day later.
CSK and DC are now due to face each other on Tuesday (March 26) at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. Ahead of the blockbuster contest, the captains of both the teams tried their hands in a different match.
Taking to Twitter, the official page of Delhi Capitals posted a video in which CSK skipper MS Dhoni can be seen playing table tennis with his counterpart Shreyas Iyer.
“Let the games beginnn..Oh wait Hey @ChennaiIPL, can you guess the score?” DC wrote in the caption of the video.
Moreover, both the franchises indulged in a healthy banter as well.
Replying to Delhi Capitals’ tweet, the defending champions wrote: “Hmmm. 7-nil, coz it's Thalanagaram? #Capital”.
Subsequently, DC wished CSK best of luck for tomorrow’s clash and also added in Tamil that they are competitors inside the ground and friends outside.
“Ulle pottiyalargal, veliye nanbargal! Best of luck for tomorrow. Let's hope it's a cracker of a game!”
