Shikhar Dhawan is expected to leave Sunrisers Hyderabad for the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2019. As per reports, Dhawan will move to Kings XI Punjab.

Dhawan was bought by Hyderabad in INR 5.2 crores and his price may get doubled in the new franchise.

As per reports of the Times of India, he will be swapped with Karun Nair, who was bought by KXIP for an amount of Rs 5.6 Crore. Earlier, rumors suggested Dhawan will move to Mumbai Indians to open with Rohit Sharma. There is no official announcement regarding the window transfer yet.

Only Mumbai Indians have announced that they will add Quinton de Kock in their team from Royal Challengers Bangalore. They have released Mustafizur Rahman and Akila Dananjaya ahead of the auction for the next season.

Jaydev Unadkat is also set to leave Rajasthan Royals after a mediocre performance in the last season despite being paid Rs 11.5 crore.

The auction for the upcoming season will take place on December 16 in Goa. Other franchises are also expected to come up with lists of released or transferred players soon.
