Sri Lankan legend Chaminda Vaas also joined the setup and may become the side’s fast-bowling coach, replacing Munaf Patel.
“The short camp took place at a ground in Aerocity, with a lot of players who did well in the previous camp in Bengaluru featuring here as well. It is understood that the camp will conclude on Monday,” the news agency quoted a source as saying.
The trio of Yuvraj, Mishra, and Vaas oversaw the trials to test identified domestic talent in various match simulations, as the franchise looks to build a more competitive squad for the upcoming season.
Last month, DC conducted its initial trials and an off-season training camp at the Just Cricket Academy ground in Bengaluru, where Yuvraj and Sourav Ganguly, ex-India captain and DC's director of cricket in two stints, took charge.
The management is scouting and shortlisting players ahead of the IPL mini-auction scheduled for later this year.
These extensive trials and camps follow a massive coaching overhaul driven by the franchise's co-owners, JSW Sports and GMR Sports India, as the former takes over the management operations for the 2027 and 2028 cycles.
