After Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won back-to-back IPL finals on Sunday, May 31, star batter Virat Kohli and all-rounder Krunal Pandya were spotted dancing to the sounds of dhols. In the final, RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets to win their second IPL crown.

After winning their first IPL championship in Ahmedabad in 2025, RCB is now just the third team to successfully defend their title, behind Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Additionally, they increased the number of years that Qualifier 1 winners have won the trophy to nine.

Krunal was seen dancing with the trophy to the music of dhols in a video that RCB posted on social media. Later, Kohli joined him, showing up in shorts and a t-shirt to partake in the festivities as the squad celebrated their victory.

GT was asked to bat first by RCB captain Rajat Patidar, who won the toss, and they scored 155/8 with Washington Sundar top-scoring with 50*. In response, Virat Kohli made 75,* guiding RCB to a win by 5 wickets and making RCB IPL champions for the second year in a row.
