Kohli was named the Player of the Match for his 75* in IPL 2026 final.
Asked to bat first, GT posted 155/8 in 20 overs with Washington Sundar scoring 55*. In response, RCB achieved the target with 5 wickets in hand, with Virat Kohli top-scoring with 75*. He also won the Player of the Final for this knock as RCB became the third team after CSK and MI to win the IPL twice in two years.
The captivating right-hander was seen enthusiastically dancing with Anushka, Dinesh Karthik, and other teammates in a video that RCB posted on social media following the victory.
In addition to doing the well-known "Naacho Naacho" step with Dinesh Karthik and sharing dance moves with Anushka Sharma, Kohli was spotted showcasing his dancing skills on his own. Fans were given a priceless moment to treasure when the video swiftly went viral.
"(It is the) stuff you dream of. (I) thought of this moment many times, wanting to hit the winning run. Such is the demand (that) super young players (are) pushing you to up the ante," he said in jest, but the seriousness of his statement wasn't lost on anyone. I had to change my mindset, not my game so much, take on bowlers and get extra runs,” Kohli said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
