IPL 2026: WATCH- Rishabh Pant’s brain glitches when Ian Bishop asks about Mohammad Shami at toss in RR v LSG game

LSG posted 220/5 after being asked to bat first by RR captain Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) are hosting the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 64th game in the IPL 2026 on May 19, 2026. RR captain Yashasvi Jaiswal won the toss and chose to bowl first. Riyan Parag was out of the match as he recovered from his hamstring injury.

One more interesting piece of squad news was Mohammad Shami missing out for the LSG team. The fast bowler was on the field but not even on the Impact Substitutions list after he missed out on selection for India's one-off Test and ODI series against Afghanistan.

When asked about Shami's absence, LSG captain Rishabh Pant's response left West Indies’ Ian Bishop perplexed at the toss. Bishop attempted to question Pant about Shami's absence, but the LSG captain did not give a clear response.

After pointing out the modifications to the starting lineup, Bishop finally made the decision to move on from the topic.

Meanwhile, LSG posted 220/5 in 20 overs, thanks to 96 by Mitchell Marsh, 60 by Josh Inglis, and 35 by Rishabh Pant.
