SRH won the toss and chose to bat first against KKR in Hyderabad.
Abhishek Sharma, who has been in amazing form in IPL 2026, was dismissed for 15 runs as Kartik Tyagi had him caught by Cameron Green. However, Travis Head and Ishan Kishan added 61 runs for the second wicket to put SRH in the lead.
But Head fell for 61 in 28 balls, and that brought Heinrich Klaasen to the crease. Klaasen started well, hitting a four and a six in his 8-ball knock, where he scored 11 runs. However, his budding innings was cut short thanks to an excellent fielding effort by Rovman Powell.
Cameron Green bowled a slowish bouncer, and Klaasen tried to hit it towards the vacant cow corner area for a boundary. However, Rovman Powell ran a fair distance towards his right and stretched himself fully towards the ball. The ball stuck to his right hand, and Powell took a good tumble, but held on to the ball in a proper manner.
The catch left everyone stunned, and even his teammates were in awe seeing such a brilliant fielding effort from Powell, who is already famous for his prowess in the outfield.
