On April 29, 2026, the Mumbai Indians (MI) hosted Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 41st IPL match. This match was played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, and Hardik Pandya, MI captain, won the toss and decided to bat first.

But then Heinrich Klaasen entered and, along with help from Nitish Reddy and Salil Arora, took the attack to MI bowling. He added 80 runs for the 4th wicket with Nitish Reddy, who made 21 with 3 fours. Salil Arora showed some great hitting form, scoring 30* in 10 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes.
Klaasen remained unbeaten on 65* with 7 fours and 4 sixes, as he absorbed pressure from MI bowlers when wickets fell and was resolute in his aim to win the game for SRH. SRH managed to overhaul the target in 18.4 overs, with 6 wickets in hand.
With this win, SRH moved to third spot in the IPL 2026 points table with 6 wins from 9 games and a net run rate of 0.832. MI remain at the 9th spot with 2 wins in 8 games and only 4 points to their name.
