Following RCB's IPL 2026 victory over GT, a beautiful scene between Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj captured everyone's attention. A popular video showed Siraj approaching Kohli and hugging him from behind, the two sharing a heartfelt embrace.

It was a short moment, but it had a significant impact, particularly in Bengaluru. Siraj was once a fan favorite here, and seeing him back at the Chinnaswamy, laughing with Kohli, brought back many memories.

Siraj approached Kohli shortly after the match concluded, caught him from behind, and hugged him. Kohli turned, grinned, and embraced him back. Nothing extravagant, simply a genuine moment between two players who have traveled a long distance together.

Mohammed Siraj had joined the RCB squad in IPL 2018 and remained with them till IPL 2024. He picked up 83 wickets in 87 games for the franchise.

Meanwhile, the encounter between RCB and GT saw a brilliant century by Sai Sudharsan (100) as GT posted 205/3 in 20 overs. However, half-centuries by Virat Kohli (81) and Devdutt Padikkal (55) helped RCB chase the target in 18.5 overs and with 5 wickets.
