In response, RR lost Yashasvi Jaiswal early for 13 runs, but Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed the RCB bowlers willingly. He shared 108 runs for the second wicket with Dhruv Jurel, scoring 78 in 26 balls with 8 fours and 7 sixes.
RR reached the mark in 18 overs and won by 6 wickets thanks to Dhruv Jurel's unbroken 81* with 8 fours and 3 sixes and Ravindra Jadeja's 24*. Sooryavanshi was named the Player of the Match for his scintillating knock.

Sooryavanshi received huge praise from Patidar in the post-match presentation as he talked about the youngster’s batting.
“Everyone would have loved seeing Vaibhav bat. The way Vaibhav and Yashasvi bat, it feels like the wicket isn't doing much. The way we started in the powerplay, we lost wickets; getting to 200+ was a positive sign for us. In the same way, their batters, especially Vaibhav, made the difference. I think the way we are batting in the last matches is brilliant. There are a lot of learnings from this game,” Patidar said.
Sooryavanshi has scored 200 runs in 4 games with a strike rate of 266.66 with two fifties to his name thus far in IPL 2026.
