GT managed to win an absolute thriller against DC in Delhi by one run.
At one point, with KL Rahul at the crease, the match appeared to be solidly under Delhi Capitals' control. However, a pivotal event in the 15th shifted the tide and elicited a passionate reaction from the GT dugout.
The incident occurred during DC’s 15th over, bowled by Ashok Sharma, when Tristan Stubbs dug out a well-executed yorker to the bowler's left. The DC batters were able to attempt a fast single since Ashok was able to get a hand to the ball, but was unable to stop it cleanly.
Shubman Gill struck the striker-end stumps directly after swiftly gathering the ball. Even though KL Rahul had made his ground, the ball raced to the boundary after being deflected off the stumps, giving the Delhi Capitals four more runs and converting a single into five.
Ashish Nehra was visibly angry with Shubman Gill for needlessly throwing the ball at the stumps and gifting DC five free runs. Nehra was seen screaming and hurling abuses after the incident unfolded.

DC seemingly had the match won with 2 runs in the last 2 balls. Miller declined a single on the second-to-last ball, maintaining strike but putting the onus on himself to score 2 runs on the last ball and win the game.
On the last delivery, with two runs required, he missed a slower ball and tried a quick single, but Jos Buttler ran his partner Kuldeep Yadav out at the striker's end. Delhi fell painfully short, gifting Gujarat a thrilling one-run victory.
