Sanju Samson will play for CSK in IPL 2026, while Mohammed Siraj will turn out for Gujarat Titans.
Samson devoted almonds to himself because of his poor memory. He gave the sleeping pillow to Rinku Singh. He then chose captain Suryakumar Yadav as the team's statsman and handed him the calculator.
Samson then brought out a box of tissues, which he donated to Siraj, who was standing nearby. When Siraj heard himself mentioned, he promptly joined in and whacked back at the wicket-keeper hitter.
“‘Crying one’… To whom should I give this ‘crying one’. Let us give it to him,” Samson said while pointing towards Siraj, in a video posted by Star Sports.
Siraj approached the camera and stated that he would return the same box of tissues to Samson. Before Siraj could say anything, Samson had already smuggled in a brief apology to his teammate, but Siraj was prepared for his counterattack.
“I’ll only give it to Sanju,” Siraj said as both the players broke into laughter.
Samson and Siraj will soon be up against each other in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026). Samson has moved from the Rajasthan Royals to the Chennai Super Kings in a massive transaction, while Siraj remains with the Gujarat Titans.
Samson will make his IPL debut for CSK against the Rajasthan Royals on Monday, March 30, and Siraj will lead the attack against the Punjab Kings the following day.
