Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will enter the IPL 2026 on the back of sensational debut season in 2025.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) are intensely focused on securing their second IPL title, building on the 2022 runner-up finish with strategic additions to their squad.
Veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has rejoined RR for the IPL 2026 in a major trade from Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
With less than 10 days remaining for the start of the tournament, Jadeja was seen bowling to RR’s teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi during a team training session, which has gone viral.
Sooryaanshi, who took the cricketing world by storm with dazzling exploits in his debut IPL season in 2025, was seen taking Jadeja to the cleaners.
The 14-year-old appeared to smash every delivery of the left-arm spinner that came his way, barring a single ball, which seemed to have drifted just wide of the mark.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will enter the IPL 2026 after playing a pivotal role in India’s U19 World Cup 2026 triumph. He smashed a blistering 175 off 80 balls in the title clash against England in Harare last month.
Sooryavanshi’s knock, studded with 15 fours and 15 sixes, propelled India to a gigantic total of 411/9. England fell 100 runs short in the chase.
Sooryavanshi earned the 'Player-of-the-Match' accolade in the final. The southpaw finished the tournament as the second-highest run-getter with 439 runs in seven innings at an average of 62.71 and a strike rate of 169.49, including a century and three fifties. As a result, he also bagged the 'Player of the Tournament' award.
