Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has carried on his prolific form into the New Zealand ODI series. While the right-hander managed to score 23 runs in the second ODI, he played a match-winning knock of 93 in the series opener. As a result, Kohli regained the top position in the ICC ODI batting rankings for the first time since April 2, 2021.
