England batter Harry Brook has been under fire for his continued failures against spin in the ongoing five-T20I series against India. He has continuously failed to pick Varun Chakaravarthy’s spin in the series and was out to Ravi Bishnoi in the 3rd T20I.

Varun Chakaravarthy dismissed the young English batting superstar for 17 in the series opener, and things didn't improve much for him in the second T20I when the 33-year-old bowled him for 13. In Rajkot, the 25-year-old crumbled in front of spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who outfoxed him for eight.

Former England skipper Michael Vaughan took a sly dig at Brook on X after his another flop show in the ongoing series.

"Is it Smoggy in Rajkot?" he wrote on X.

India spin great Ravichandran Ashwin, who recently announced his retirement from international cricket last year, replied to Vaughan's post.

"Just a little," he added.

England won the third T20I in Rajkot in style to keep the series alive. England was asked to bat first by India captain Suryakumar Yadav and posted 171/9 with Ben Duckett scoring 51 and Liam Livingstone making 43 runs. For India, Varun Chakaravarthy picked 5/24.

In reply, none of the Indian batters stayed long enough to make an impact. Abhishek Sharma made 24 in 14 balls, and Hardik Pandya made 40 but took 35 balls for the same as he tried to take the game deep.

In the end, it was too much for India to chase and they finished on 145/9 and lost the game by 26 runs. Jamie Overton took 3/23, while Brydon Carse and Jofra Archer took 2 wickets each.
