The second Test match between India and South Africa will start on Thursday (10 October).
When Team India takes field against the Proteas in the second Test match of the three-match series at Pune on Thursday (10 October), it will be match number 50 for Virat Kohli as the skipper of Men in Blue. Kohli has lead India well as they are on a streak of 10 home series wins at the moment. He has won 29 of the 49 Tests as captain of the Indian team.

While talking about this feat, the right-hand batsman said, “I feel I am lucky enough to be in this position. I am grateful that I have been able to play so many games for India, let alone captain so many games. It is a nice landmark.”
The 30-year-old Delhi based cricketer then went on to add about his main focus as he said, “The focus is to win as many Test as possible. Just win every game that we play. When the Board and the team recognizes these little things, it means something to you as a player.
“Stats and numbers have never mattered to me, they don’t. I am very grateful for whatever has happened in my career so far,” he said.
