Team India are all set to host South Africa in the final game of the three-match T20I series at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday (September 22). However, the forecast does not look too promising for the series finale.

According to weather.com, there is a low pressure over east-central Arabian Sea and adjoining area and it expected to move westward on Sunday. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Island are expected to receive heavy shower and thunderstorms.

However, chances of a downpour during the match hours hover around 30-40%, which means we could see an interrupt or two in the third T20I.

It is worth mentioning here that the T20I series opener between India and South Africa in Dharamsala was abandoned due to persistent rain last week.

In the second T20I at Mohali, the hosts produced a brilliant performance to beat the Proteas by seven wickets. Riding on skipper Virat Kohli dazzling half-century (72 not out off 52 balls), India chased down South Africa’s target of 150 with an over to spare.
