The Indian captain Virat Kohli took an amazing catch off Shardul Thakur.
India and England played the third ODI of the three-match series on March 28, 2021, at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
India batted first after Virat Kohli lost his third straight toss in the series and posted 329 on the board. Rishabh Pant made 78, Shikhar Dhawan made 67, and Hardik Pandya made 64 runs, while Mark Wood took 3/34 and Adil Rashid picked two wickets for England.

In reply, Indian bowlers kept close control on England batsmen with Dawid Malan making 50, Liam Livingstone made 36 and Sam Curran also made his maiden ODI fifty, while Ben Stokes made 35 runs.
India was in desperate need of a wicket as a 50-wicket partnership between Sam Curran and Adil Rashid, who made 19, was threatening India. That’s when Shardul Thakur was brought into the attack by Virat Kohli and he did the job almost instantly.
However, the job was finished by the captain himself, who took an amazing one-handed catch at the short cover position after Rashid lobbed a catch. This was Shardul Thakur’s fourth wicket in the match at that stage, as England slumped to 257/8 in 40 overs.
