In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the most experienced pacer on the Indian T20I side against England. He returned with 4 wickets in the 5 T20I matches against England with his best of 2/15 coming in the series-deciding fifth T20I.
