IND v ENG 2021: "He can make runs of 2-3 other cricketers," Shastri not worried about Kohli's run drought

India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to field first and talking about his playing XI said, “Ishan Kishan is going to open for us. Suryakumar Yadav also makes his debut, comes in for Axar Patel. These guys are ready, they've done so well in the IPL against world-class bowlers already. That's the advantage of dealing with youth: You don't really need to say much to them, just unleash them on the field and back them.”

England also made one change as Tom Curran came in for Mark Wood, who is struggling with a niggle.

Meanwhile, the cricketing fraternity was elated at the inclusion of both Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan, who earned their maiden India call-ups after brilliant performances in not only the domestic cricket but also in the IPL for Mumbai Indians for the past 2-3 years.
