The second T20I between India and England will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad on March 14. England beat India in the first T20I in a convincing fashion by 8 wickets.

The Indian top-order failed to get going with KL Rahul making 1, Dhawan making 4 and captain Kohli getting out for a duck. On a pitch where fast bowlers had a field day, India went in with three spinners and was belted around the park by Jason Roy, and Jonny Bairstow.

India will look to get back on the winning ways and hence, Team COC presents to you the Predicted Playing XI for the second T20I against England.

IND v ENG 2021: "India needs to play its best playing XI against very talented England," says VVS Laxman

The opening combination failed to get going, but being the first international match after a long time for both KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan, they can be excused for being rusty. However, for Virat Kohli to get out for a duck and again to a leg-spinner, is seemingly becoming a problem for the master batsman.

Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and Hardik Pandya made the runs with Iyer showing his worth at no.4 while Pant played some outrageous shots in his short knock. Hardik Pandya looked good in the two overs he bowled and with the bat as well, he looked decent, and with some more time in the middle, he can be devastating.

IND v ENG 2021: Irfan Pathan feels "pace was the difference" between India and England in 1st T20I

India had missed a trick by not playing three fast bowlers, and the three spinners all went for runs. This time, however, they might opt for Deepak Chahar in place of Akshar Patel in the playing XI, because Washington Sundar bowled well. Chahar has the ability to swing the new ball and might help Bhuvneshwar create pressure at the other end.

COC Predicted Team India Playing XI for the second T20I against England:

KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (C), Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (WK), Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal
