Virat Kohli was dismissed by England spinner Adil Rashid in the first T20I on Friday (March 12).
India skipper Virat Kohli failed to get runs in the first T20I against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium. He was dismissed on a duck by Adil Rashid in the third over of India's innings.
Kohli's dismissal on zero was used by Uttarakhand Police to promote road safety. They wittingly tried to aware their followers on Twitter to be focused while driving.
Posting a tweet with Kohli's picture, Uttarakhand Police wrote, "Only wearing a helmet is not enough for safety. One should be stay alert while driving or you may also get out on a zero like Kohli". This was the Indian captain's third duck in the last five innings across all formats.

India lost overall three wickets in the powerplay and a poor start led to a low score eventually. They never recovered from the unstable start and only Shreyas Iyer managed a half-century. India posted only 124/7 in 20 overs as England chased down the target with 27 balls left and 8 wickets in hand.
Jason Roy scored 49 off 32 deliveries and he hit 4 fours and 3 sixes. The Man of the Match was Jofra Archer for his 3/23 which gave the visitors a good hold on the match in the first innings. England now have a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series.
