England's star all-rounder Ben Stokes, fiery pacer Jofra Archer, and opener Rory Burns, who arrived in the country four days prior to the rest of their teammates, completed their mandatory 6-day quarantine and had their first training session at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
The trio who were not a part of England's Test series win in Sri Lanka had landed in India on 25th January and having cleared their three RT-PCR tests hit the nets on Saturday
Referring to the same, England's media manager Danny Reuben said that the trio is limited to a two-hour session while other members of the squad had cleared their second COVID-19 test.

"The first group of players - Archer, Burns, and Stokes - will practice each morning for the next three days. They are limited to a two-hour session. The entire England touring party received their second PCR COVID-19 test yesterday. All results returned negative results," said Danny Reuben.

The first two Tests of the four-match Test series will be played in Chennai and then both teams will travel to Ahmedabad for the final two Tests.
