Dravid was overseeing the fielding drills on the eve of the first ODI and was seen giving tips and help to Indian team members.
Later he was seen wearing a helmet and picking up a bat in hand as Shubman Gill readied himself for a slip-catching drill from the coach. Dravid was being thrown balls, which he deflected off his bat for Shubman Gill to catch showing great reflexes.
As expected, Dravid got his timing spot on as he edged them to perfection to make sure Gill had a solid workout. He was later seen using a baseball bat to give Gill slip catches while positioned for a spinner.
