Smith was focused on consolidating and was looking dangerous as he had set himself up for a big one. However, in the 13th over, Hardik Pandya made Smith make an error, which ended in him getting the Australian captain’s wicket.
Pandya bowled a short delivery outside off-stump which moved further away and Steve Smith chased the delivery seeing an opportunity to score. However, he only managed to edge the ball while trying to cut it and keeper KL Rahul took a brilliant catch diving to his right with both hands.
