Following the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India and Australia will lock horns with each other in a three-match ODI series.

While the four-match Test series is due to end on March 13, the 50-over series is slated to be held from March 17 to March 22.

During the ODI series, Indian umpire Nitin Menon will be officiating in all three games. In a big vote of confidence in his abilities, the International Cricket Council has chosen Menon, who is also officiating in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, to continue in the same role in the ODI series as well

In fact, the entire umpiring panel will be from India during the white-ball series.

According to a noting on the ICC website under the section: ‘ICC Umpire and Referee appointments,’ Menon and KN Padmanabhan will be the on-field umpires in the first ODI in Mumbai on March 17, while Virender Sharma will be the TV umpire.

Menon and Sharma will officiate in the second ODI in Visakhapatnam on March 19, with Jayaram Madangopal being the third umpire.

Nitin Menon and Madangopal will be the on-field umpires for the third ODI at Chepauk on March 22, while Padmanabhan will be the TV umpire.

Talking about the Test series, Team India have won the first two games in Nagpur and Delhi to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for fourth straight time.

Indore and Ahmedabad are slated to host the third and fourth Tests from March 1 and March 9, respectively.
