Umesh Yadav was in good form in the recently concluded Ranji Trophy.
India pacer Umesh Yadav has last shot to take if he wants to impress the selectors. The speedster is added for the limited-overs series against Australia. Umesh is picked for two-match T20I encounter against Aaron Finch-led Australia side.
Umesh wants to secure a place in the Indian side for the 2019 World Cup and his tweet was a hint of how desperately he wants to outperform his competitors.
"I'm going to always rise above the doubt that may exist about me," he tweeted.
Umesh will accompany likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami. Earlier, India was looking their fourth pacer in Khaleel Ahmed. But he failed to impress in the given opportunities. Apart from Umesh, Siddarth Kaul is also included in the side.
KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant have been included in the T20I and ODI squads against Australia. This series is very important as players will be shortlisted for the World Cup 2019.
