Dinesh Karthik is on commentary duties for ENG v IND Tests for Sky Sports.
On his journey to the Lord's ground, Indian batsman-wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma encountered a challenge. Before the security guards let him enter, he had to provide identification and even had to ask Dinesh Karthik for help to gain entry. In the meantime, an Indian cricket enthusiast decided to turn Jitesh's struggles at the entrance into a vlog.
India and England recently played an incredible Test match at Lord's. Even though the home team won by a slim margin, Shubman Gill's young Indian team's battle was genuinely admirable. On each of the five days, the crowd gathered to watch the game.
In a video shared by a fan on social media, Jitesh Sharma can be seen arguing and pleading his case to security personnel outside the Lord’s ground to let him enter. After several pleas, Jitesh got a lifeline as he saw Dinesh Karthik near the gate.
Jitesh Sharma and Dinesh Karthik are both associated with the RCB franchise, which won the IPL 2025. Seeing Karthik, Jitesh shouted his name to get his attention.
The user added that to arrange admittance, the Indian keeper-batter had to call Dinesh Karthik. Karthik, who has been providing commentary for the current series, is also seen in the video talking on the phone with someone (perhaps Jitesh) and signing a few autographs before leaving.
