India has been set 193-run target at Lord's to win the match.
India did well with Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, and Nitish Kumar Reddy reducing England to 98/4 at lunch. Ben Duckett (12) and Ollie Pope (4) fell to Mohammed Siraj, and Zak Crawley (22) was dismissed by Nitish Kumar Reddy. Akash Deep accounted for Harry Brook, who scored a swift 23 in 19 balls.
After lunch, Joe Root (40) and Ben Stokes (33) came together and added 67 runs for the 5th wicket, before Washington Sundar wielded his magic. Sundar not only clean bowled both Root and Stokes, who tried to play wild sweep shots, but he also cleaned up the dangerous Jamie Smith (8).
Jasprit Bumrah removed Chris Woakes and Brydon Carse, and Sundar cleaned up the England innings with his fourth wicket, that of Shoaib Bashir, as the hosts were dismissed for 192 runs.
This meant India had a target of 193 runs to chase down and win the Test. While Bumrah and Siraj picked two wickets each, Sundar starred with 4/22 in 12.1 overs.
Sundar received huge praise from the cricket fraternity on social media for his brilliant bowling.
