The first Test of the five-match series begins on June 20 in Leeds.
With an exciting behind-the-scenes film released on Sunday, the BCCI gave fans a sneak peek at Team India's preparations for the eagerly awaited five-match Test series against England. The images showed a blend of intensity, vigor, and unity as the Men in Blue found their groove on English land.
"First sight of Team India getting into the groove in England", the video was titled as such and began with Rishabh Pant and new skipper Shubman Gill, accompanied by support staff, making their way to the gates of the storied Lord's Cricket Ground.
The players engaged in a brief football practice on the outfield to warm up the English style. Pant was very energetic, running with the ball.
While spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja joined Gill in running drills, pace leader Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna were observed performing sprint drills. Following the throwing drills, Arshdeep Singh was seen working intently one-on-one with Gambhir.
