Mumbai have been set 510 runs to win against TNCA XI.
Suryakumar Yadav was seen apologizing to a batter during Mumbai’s ongoing Buchi Babu Tournament match against the TNCA XI in Coimbatore after he almost injured the batter with a head-high full toss.
TNCA XI batted first after winning the toss and posted 379 runs with Pradosh Ranjan Paul, Baba Indrajith, B Vaishna Kumar, and Ajith Ram scoring fifties. For Mumbai, Himanshu Singh took a fifer.
In reply, Mumbai made 156 with Divyanshu Saxena top-scoring with 70. Suryakumar Yadav made 30, while Shreyas Iyer made 2 runs.
In their second innings, TNCA XI made 286 runs with Atish SR, S Lokeshwar, and Mokit Hariharan scoring fifties. Tanush Kotian picked a fifer and Shams Mulani took 4 wickets for Mumbai.
Mumbai was set 510 runs to win the match and thus far they have scored 119/2.
Meanwhile, Suryakumar rolled his arm during the game, and a video has surfaced of him unwittingly bowling a beamer. The batter read it and pushed it away as if for a boundary, almost wiping out the defender at short leg. Suryakumar was seen raising his hand in apology.
