According to a report published in The Hindu, India opener Mayank Agarwal has been named Vihari’s deputy in the team picked up by the selectors of the South Zone Associations in a meeting held in Goa on Tuesday (June 13).

KS Bharat, who appeared in the recently-concluded WTC final against Australia, has been named the wicketkeeper along with his Andhra teammate Ricky Bhui.

Kerala batter Sachin Baby, Goa’s Darshan Misal, and Hyderabad’s Tilak Varma are the only players picked from their respective states.
