India batter Ishan Kishan carried his very good form with the bat from the Men in Blue side to his state team Jharkhand in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2022-23 and hit a scintillating ton against Sanju Samson’s Kerala.

Kerala had posted 450 runs batting first in Ranchi thanks to 150 from Akshar Chandran and half-centuries from Sanju Samson, Rohan Kunnumal, Rohan Prem, and Sijoman Joseph. Jharkhand replied with 340 runs with Saurabh Tiwary making 97 runs.

But the best came from Ishan Kishan who slammed 132 in 195 balls with 9 fours and 8 sixes. No other batter apart from him and Tiwary crossed the 30-run mark. Kishan and Tiwary put on 202 runs for the fifth wicket to revive Jharkhand.

In their second innings, Kerala are 60/1 at stumps on day 3 and have a lead of 195 runs.

On the other hand, after hitting a brilliant century for Goa on his Ranji debut, emulating his famous father Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun also turned up with the ball as he picked two wickets when Rajasthan came out to bat in their first innings.

Tendulkar had made 120 and thanks to 212 from Suyash Prabhudessai, Goa had posted 547/9d.

In reply, Rajasthan managed 245/6 at stumps on day 3 and still trail by 302 runs. Yash Kothari made 96, and Mahipal Lomror made 63. Arjun Tendulkar ended the day with 2/77 in 14 overs, while Mohit Redkar took 3/46 in 23 overs.
