Huraira scored his triple at 19 years and 239 days, just behind Javed Miandad's record of 17 years 310 days.
The youngest Pakistani ever to score a triple century was Javed Miandad, who in 1975 scored 300 plus runs in an innings for Karachi Whites against National Bank at the age of 17 years 310 days.
Huraira is now the second youngest in Pakistani FC history to score a triple century and eight overall to achieve the feat. This was the 23rd triple century on Pakistan soil with Huraira being the 22nd player overall to score a 300 in Pakistan.
These also include the triple tons scored by Mike Brearly, Mark Taylor, and Virender Sehwag- the last two coming in Test matches.
Shoaib Malik's nephew, Huraira had told PakPassion: "I am very fortunate that Shoaib Malik is my uncle and he has always been an inspiration for me. He has always encouraged me to not give up and to continue working hard as there are no shortcuts to success in cricket."
Huraira scored 311 not out from 341 balls, which included 40 boundaries and four sixes. He has been part of the Pakistan U19 team and played alongside Haider Ali and Rohail Nazir. The Sialkot resident became the ninth teenager in the world to hit a triple century in first-class cricket.
The PCB shared the video of Huraira reaching the milestone on Twitter with a caption reading: "MONUMENTAL EFFORT! 19-year-old Mohammad Huraira becomes the second youngest Pakistan batter to score a first-class triple century!"
