Karnataka defeated Bengal in the Super Over to progress to the semi-finals.
Karnataka captain Manish Pandey inspired his team to a thrilling victory via Super Over in the quarter-final against Bengal on Thursday (November 18) in Delhi.
Bengal won the toss and opted to bowl first. Karnataka scored 160/5 batting first with Karun Nair scoring 29-ball 55* and he was well supported by Rohan Kadam (30) and Pandey (29).
In reply, Bengal's Writtick Chatterjee scored 51 and later Ritwik Roy Chowdhury scored 36* in 18 balls. 20 runs were needed off the final over, as Chowdhury and Akash Deep almost pulled it off with 19 coming off the first five balls but with just one needed off the final ball, Manish Pandey produced a piece of magic to run out Akash Deep and take the game into the Super Over.

Karnataka bowled out Bengal in just four balls conceding five runs in the Super Over and then finished off the game with Pandey hitting a six on the second ball itself.

Karnataka will play Vidarbha in the semi-final on Saturday afternoon with Tamil Nadu taking on Hyderabad in the morning. Both games will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
