Australia cricketer Mitchell Marsh was left fuming after being wrongly given out during the Big Bash League (BBL 10) qualifier match between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers.

Marsh gave the umpire a stare and mouthful while walking back to the pavilion. He was very upset with the caught behind decision and it could be seen on his face.

The incident happened during the 13th over of Perth's innings when Marsh tried to put bat on the ball off Steve O'Keefe's delivery which was going down leg. The batsman didn't hit it but wicket-keeper Joshua Philippe was confident and he appealed for a catch along with O'Keefe.

Marsh was in disbelief after finding out he was given out. He shouted at the decision in frustration while returning to the pavilion after scoring 2 runs off 5 deliveries.

Even the England all-rounder Ben Stokes wasn't pleased with the horror umpiring in BBL. There have been many instances when umpires have failed to get the easiest of decisions right. They don't have a DRS option in the tournament which could have helped the players out.

"DRS isn't there to make the umpires look bad. Why on earth aren't all competitions using it, it's frustrating to watch something like that happen when it can so easily be fixed," tweeted Stokes.
