Fast bowler Sreesanth is set to make a comeback to competitive cricket after a gap of nearly 8 years. He has been named in Kerala's squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, starting on January 10.

Ahead of the T20 tournament, Sreesanth is currently taking part in intra-squad warm-up matches. In a video shared on YouTube by Kerala Cricket Association, Sreesanth can be seen running in and using the variations he was famous for at the peak of his international career for India. His action is still as smooth as ever.

37-year-old Sreesanth’s ban for spot-fixing ended in September 2020, but the COVID-19 lockdown delayed his return to top tier cricket.
