Pakistan’s franchise based domestic T20 tournament Pakistan Super League (PSL) became yet another cricketing activity after Nepal’s Everest Premier League and Bangladesh Cricket Board planned Asia XI v World XI to be affected by the outbreak of coronavirus.
Sindh chief minister's law adviser Murtaza Wahab on Thursday announced on Twitter that rest of the matches of the tournament will be held in Karachi behind closed doors and without fans.

“SindhGovt has decided that the remaining matches of PSL in Karachi will take place without any crowd. This decision has been made after consultation with all stakeholders including the Pakistan Cricket Board,” Wahab wrote on Twitter.

Even the official Twitter handle of Pakistan Super League tweeted out saying, “Following government advice, the upcoming #HBLPSLV matches in Karachi will be played in front of an empty National Stadium. The precautionary decision has been made to better protect the health of spectators, players, officials & media.”

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also decided to play the remainder of the final of Ranji Trophy behind closed doors. The fate of Indian Premier League (IPL) shall be decided on Saturday (March 14).
