Rahul missed out on quarter-final against Jammu and Kashmir due to a niggle.
India’s wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul has been in sublime form with the bat in recent times as he played incredibly well in both the T20I and ODI series against New Zealand. But the right-hander was left out of the Test team despite calls for his inclusion from several former Indian cricketers.
After returning from New Zealand, Rahul missed out on Karnataka’s quarter-final against Jammu and Kashmir at the Gandhi Memorial Science College in Jammu due to a niggle, where Karnataka handed a 167-run defeat to the home team.

But Rahul is now back to match fitness and is set to make a comeback to Karnataka’s squad in their Ranji Trophy semifinal clash against Bengal.
“KL's comeback is a healthy headache for us. It's a tough call for us. We will see how the wicket is and then decide on the combination,” said Karnataka coach Yere Goud.
Karnataka’s squad: Karun Nair (C), R. Samarth, Devdutt Padikkal, Manish Pandey, K.L. Rahul, Sharath Srinivas, Shreyas Gopal, K. Gowtham, A. Mithun, K.V. Siddharth, Prasidh Krishna, J. Suchith, Prateek Jain, Ronit More, and B.R. Sharath.
