Former India and Delhi captain Gautam Gambhir recently announced his retirement from all forms of the game and announced that Delhi’s Ranji game against Andhra will be his final competitive game of cricket.

In order to end his cricketing career on a high, Gambhir decided to bid farewell in style. Andhra batted first against Delhi and put up 390 on board with Ricky Bhui making 187 and Subodh Bhati taking 5/48.

However, when it came time for Delhi to bat, Gautam Gambhir put on 108 with Hiten Dalal (58) and 82 with captain Dhruv Shorey (39*). The biggest news here is that Gambhir himself is not out on 92 runs off 154 balls with 8 fours and is poised for a dream goodbye to the team with a possible century on the horizon.
