Virender Sehwag posted a picture of the reunion of him, Sachin and Sourav Ganguly.
India's one of the finest batsman Sachin Tendulkar made his way into the commentary box for the first time. He didn't have to feel awkward because his former opening batting partners Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag were already there waiting for him.
A picture of the reunion was posted on Sehwag's Twitter account. In the picture, the trio was seen posing for the picture although they had a mic and not in their hand this time. He captioned it "Together Again!"
It was the opening game of ICC World Cup 2019 between England and South Africa, which the former won easily by 104 runs. When questioned about the commentary debut, Sachin went on to compare it with his international cricket debut against Pakistan in 1989.
"I know, I am having the same feeling I had in Pakistan in 1989. Now it's 2019, I am having the same feeling. 30 years down the line. I have a microphone in hand, not a cricket bat. Looking forward to it," he was quoted.
