All the teams play two warm-up matches each against each other before the tournament opener on May 30. India will take on New Zealand on May 25 and Bangladesh on May 28 in their two warm-up matches to gear up for the mega event.
BCCI, the Board of Control for Cricket in India tweeted an image from the event and the tweet read, “The stage is set. All 10 captains together for an interaction. We will see high scoring games initially but in latter stages you won’t see too many teams going gung-ho from ball 1. - @imVkohli.”
The Indian team touched down in UK on Wednesday and straight away went to business ahead of their first warm-up match against the Kiwis on Saturday. The Men in Blue were seen to be working hard in the nets during their first practice session at The Oval, the iconic stadium in London.
