Australia defeated India in the second Test in Adelaide by 10 wickets to level the series 1-1.
India keeper-batter Rishabh Pant had a light-hearted moment with legendary Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist just before the start of play on Day 3 of the pink-ball Test between India and Australia in Adelaide.
Gilchrist was standing on the field talking to someone, when Pant being Pant, quietly walked behind him and covered his eyes in a playful manner. Later the two keepers hugged in mutual admiration.
"He caught me by surprise there. I didn't know who that was behind me,” Gilchrist said.
Interestingly, Pant's game is reminiscent of Gilchrist's, with him hitting aggressively and being quick behind the stumps while wearing gloves.
Taking a cue from that while looking at the footage, former India coach and allrounder Ravi Shastri commented: "It's a wicketkeepers' union."

India, however, suffered a crushing 10-wicket defeat in the second Test at Adelaide, with their final five wickets falling in the first session alone, before Australia wrapped up a decisive victory to tie the five-Test Border Gavaskar Trophy at 1-1.
