Virat Kohli, the enigmatic Indian batter, will be in action when they face off in the second BGT 2024 Test against Australia. This match will be played in Adelaide under lights with the pink ball. India leads the five-Test series 1-0 with a 295-run win in 1st match in Perth.

Virat Kohli came into the Australia Test series with a very poor outing against New Zealand at home with just 91 runs in 6 innings in the three-Test series.

In the first innings of the Perth Test, Kohli could only manage 5 runs before getting dismissed caught in slips. However, in the second innings, Kohli hammered a brilliant unbeaten century, his 30th in Test cricket and 81st in international cricket.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli got working as soon as India reached Adelaide for the second Test and got practicing in the nets.

Not only this, the crowd that was present in the stadium went berserk on seeing Virat Kohli doing drills and fielding practice and loudly chanted his name.

He will also be eyeing Sir Don Bradman’s record for most hundreds in a country by a visiting batter. Bradman had made 11 tons in 19 games in England between 1930 and 1948.

Virat Kohli has scored 10 centuries in 43 games in Australia. Behind Kohli are Sir Viv Richards (8 centuries in England), Sunil Gavaskar (7 centuries in the West Indies), Jack Hobbs (9 centuries in Australia), and Sachin Tendulkar (9 centuries in Sri Lanka).
