Asia Cup 2025: WATCH- Rinku Singh and Tilak Varma bring to reality in final what they manifested before the tournament   

Sanjana Ganesan showed their cards on which Tilak and Rinku wrote their wishes.

Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh helped India go past the finish line as the Men in Blue defeated Pakistan in the final of the Asia Cup 2025, which was played in Dubai on September 28. India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in a close-fought game.

Pakistan had been asked to bat first after India won the toss, and despite being 113/1 at one stage, thanks to Sahibzada Farhan’s fifty, they were bundled up for 146 runs. This was thanks to Kuldeep Yadav’s 4/30 and two wickets each by Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, and Varun Chakaravarthy.

In response, Faheem Ashraf dismissed Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma for cheap, leaving India 20/3 with Suryakumar Yadav’s poor run with the bat continuing. However, Tilak Varma anchored one end and put up two half-century stands with Sanju Samson (24) and Shivam Dube (33).

Varma scored 69* with 3 fours and 4 sixes, while Rinku Singh batted just one ball and hit Haris Rauf for a four to win the final and the Asia Cup 2025 trophy for India.

As the presentation ceremony was delayed for unknown reasons, presenter Sanjana Ganesan, who was in conversation with Ravi Shastri and Wasim Akram, revealed something amazing related to Rinku Singh and Tilak Varma.

On the other hand, Tilak Varma had also made a wish that he wanted to score runs in the final and win the trophy for the team.

Sanjana shared the cards on which Rinku Singh and Tilak Varma had written their manifestations, which they made come true. A video was also circulated on social media that showed Rinku Singh talking about the same.
