India and Pakistan will clash on September 14 in Dubai.
The captains of India and Pakistan, Salman Ali Agha and Suryakumar Yadav, who are undoubtedly the two best teams in the tournament, were the target of most of the questions, as was to be expected.
During the press conference, a number of anticipated questions were raised on everything from the "rivalry" between the two teams to India's status as the clear favorite.
Salman Ali Agha, the captain of Pakistan, did not wait for the traditional embraces or handshakes on stage when the news conference concluded. Salman was seen immediately making his way to the exit door following the conclusion of the Q&A portion of the live-streamed press conference.
However, before the occasion concluded, India captain Suryakumar embraced and shook hands with other captains on stage, including Rashid Khan of Afghanistan.
