The ball seemed to grazed the ground before resting in Handscomb's palms.
Nathan Lyon picked 5/67 as he took the wickets of Rahane, Pant and the tail. However, the big wicket of Virat Kohli was scalped by Pat Cummins, as he made Kohli drive to a wide one, which was edged to Peter Handscomb in the 93rd over.
The umpire gave him out instantly and even Handscomb was seen signaling out. However, Kohli opted for DRS and by the zoomed in footages, it looked like the ball had touched the ground in between Handscomb’s fingers.
The 30-year-old looked extremely unhappy with the umpire's decision and walked off with an upset mood after playing a marathon of a knock.
