With just two days left to begin the cricketing-war between Australia and India, Captain Virat Kohli took time to have a quick chat with legendary Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist and the Aussie has still not got over the dashing right-hander on Monday (November 19).

Recently, Gilchrist caught up with Kohli for an interview for Australia’s Fox Cricket and before the interview went down live, he shared a photo of himself with Indian skipper on his Instagram account along with some words of praise for the 30-year-old.

Not only that, Gilchrist, who is the second-most successful wicketkeeper in the world with 416 dismissals, also managed to reach out the Gabba Stadium, where Men in Blue are sweating it out as they are gearing up for the first T20 International against Australia starting from Wednesday (November 23) in Brisbane, to interact with Kohli and other team members here.

Besides having an interview with the legendary Australian cricketer, Kohli shared a laugh with Gilchrist at nets and Gilchrist was just blown away by the batsman’s dashing personality.

In his Instagram post following the interview, Gilchrist called Kohli “thoughtful”, “insightful”, saying he is a man with “awesome self-belief”. He further went on to reveal that he owed Kohli a dinner.

Noteworthy, Australia and India will play three T20Is, four Tests and three ODIs and Kohli has been in the sublime form with the bat over the past few months, and all eyes will be on Captain especially in Test in Australia, where has played eight Tests, amassed 992 runs at an average of 62 so far.
