Jaffer had passed a message to the India's stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane.
Former India opener Wasim Jaffer had posted a cryptic message for India's stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane for the remaining three Tests on the Australia tour. Jaffer had written a long tweet and the first letter of each word formed a message which was "pick Gill and Rahul".
Jaffer guessed Rahane has got the message after looking at his recent picture with head coach Ravi Shastri. He shared the picture on Twitter and wrote, "Msg decoded?? #boxingdaytest #justforfun".
Rahane is showing two fingers in the picture and Jaffer wrote "Gill" and "Rahul" on them to jokingly confirm that the message is passed.
